Disruptive Force Ltd is proud to announce a Lotterywest grant, of $105,180 to deliver GoSH youth innovation events throughout 2026.
Driving Innovation in the Regions: Western Australia’s innovation ecosystem has historically been concentrated in metropolitan areas, often leaving regional youth with less access to emerging technologies and industry engagement. This grant specifically supports the delivery of GoSHowcase and GoSHackathon events in the WA regions.
Our events are designed to:
Raise Aspirations: Introducing students (Years 5–12) to diverse education and career pathways within a regional context.
Remove Barriers: Funding will support our FREE events, ensuring that geography and socio-economic status are not hurdles to participation.
Solve Regional Challenges: GoSHackathon empowers teams to develop innovative solutions for problems specific to their local community, grounded in the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Thanks to Lotterywest’s support, GoSH is able to upskill community volunteers and engage local industry mentors, which builds long-term capability within these regions to ensure these innovation pathways continue to grow.
"We are incredibly grateful for this support and can’t wait to share the ideas, solutions and stories of our regional innovators more broadly," Michelle Wong, (Chair) Disruptive Force Ltd. This grant allows the team behind GoSH to focus on regional events where every young person, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to demonstrate their unique skills and ideas.
