Discovery Labs create structured, strengths-based student experiences that help schools recognise capability beyond traditional classroom environments.

​

Through in-school hackathons, neurodivergent innovation labs and immersive future skills experiences, students are supported to think creatively, solve real-world problems, work in teams and demonstrate strengths that may not always be visible through standard classroom tasks.

 

These experiences are designed to increase engagement, build confidence and give teachers practical insight into how different learners participate, contribute and lead when the learning environment is intentionally structured for diverse ways of thinking.

What We Do

In-School Hackathons

A structured, high-energy learning experience where students work in teams to solve real-world challenges. Unlike traditional competitions, our hackathons focus on capability recognition, confidence-building and strength-based participation.

Students are supported to use analytical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration and problem-solving in a format that allows different types of thinkers to contribute.

Neurodivergent Innovation Labs

A practical, inclusive experience designed to create the conditions for neurodivergent and diverse learners to flex their creativity and participate meaningfully.

The Neurodivergent Innovation Labs are designed by experts and structured to reduce uncertainty, support different communication styles and provide multiple ways for students to demonstrate their thinking and diverse skills.

These Labs provide schools with practical evidence of strengths-based opportunities for neurodivergent students.

Future Skills Symposiums

Future Skills Innovation Symposiums bring future workforce capabilities to life through a curriculum aligned framework.

Students work through problem framing, systems thinking, ideation, prototyping and solution communication while building capabilities such as creativity, analytical thinking, collaboration, adaptability and resilience.

Our Future Skills Symposiums provide schools with practical evidence of future skill development with real-world application.
